What can happen in less then 10 minutes!

Okay so I put off calling the Insurance because it always means you are on the phone for a long time and with kids its just really hard. But it was a necessary evil to get on the Healthy Pregnancy thingy. The gentleman on the phone was really pleasant and nice trying to talk quickly for me. I got done and was glad to be finished with that. I called my hubby and walked into the kitchen for a glass of water and this is what I found! GASP!!!
My J girl armpits deep in Peanut butter! It's a good thing peanut butter doesn't bring on severe nausea, at least not today. Check out that scowl she knows she is in trouble.
Then after I took a few pictures she decided this was her photo op. to demonstrate her buttering SPA technique! Rub the stuff into a slimy mess but do it gracefully and make sure you squeeze it between you fingers!
What is it child?! ~ with you and feeling things with your fingers and then spreading them around and around. Like 4 tubes of lotion into the carpet (very soft place to walk now) or 3 tubes of lipstick into the mattress. It must be a texture thing and I am so glad this time did not involve the carpet!!!!

What a sweet girl. Especially when the party was canceled due to various factors one being a pregnant mummie who wasn't feeling to great and the extra work was never gonna get done.
Here the birthday girl poses with her gifts, and cupcakes dad got embellished with Strawberry Shortcake figures from the Dollar store (I love that place.)
With all the opened loot! The princess drawing set is a real hit she spends hours drawing the princesses. They should include a lot more paper.
Special Thank you-s to all the aunties who gave her gifts later on! She loves being showered with attention and has quite a stash of fun stuff to draw and play with now!

At about 7:30 it started to rain
and I mean pouring buckets
not some light drizzle.
We had to walk in the pouring rain
to leave the fair. That was an adventure!

Gotcha!

It was pouring rain when we headed home! I really loved catching my hunny getting soaked as he got out of the car to open the gate! Then the sweetie got wet again, waiting until after his mom drove out so she could stay dry in her car.
Chivalry is alive!

Walking with dad

While up camping in the mountains of Southern Colorado we went on a little nature walk with dad.Walking along

Everyone had to find the perfect walking stick.

We stopped to look at the pond and tried to see the tiny baby fishes swimming around.

The water was pretty clear and not very deep.

Then we said hi to a couple of very nice horses. Lilypad even petted the nose of the white one.
