I was tagged by my sister in law! So here goes!
..... to share stuff all about my husband and I...

What is his name? L at least on this web site ;D

How long have you been together? We have been married for about 7 and a half years.

How long did you date? Date? Whats that? I guess One date for us. We went to a dance he kissed me after and then the next weekend he proposed and I said yes.

Who said I love you first? L, he told me lots when we were just friends and the day I told him he proposed.

Who is taller? L by one inch! 5'10"

Who kissed who first? He kissed me. On our only date.

Who asked out who first? He asked me to marry him and go to France with him 1st as a Joke. But the only real date we went on was the dance that I asked him to go with me

Who proposed? He did. We were in Chicago at the temple there. I felt I should tell him I loved him and he immediately proposed (he used the commitment pattern ) I said YES!

Who does the laundry? I wash the girl clothes and he washes the boy clothes.

Who does the dishes? We try to take turns.....

Who is smarter? Heavens that is easy HE IS A STINKING GENIUS!

Who eats more? It just depends on if I am pregnant or not....

Who sleeps on the right? He does so he can get up and help the girls in the night, and I am close to the bathroom.

Who pays the bills? L better because I don't really even know what they all are.... should change some day!

Who mows the lawn? L but he likes to do it.

Who cooks dinner? I do, he is a funny chemist in his cooking experiments. He did come up witha very good enchilada/burrito dish!

Who drives? I drive unless L is in the car too ;D

Who is more stubborn? Tie! But he usually wins!

Who has more siblings? We have the same that is one reason we became friends. How many people are from families of 9 children!?

Who wears the pants? He does, and I wear his fleece PJ pants! K' said-But if I had my choice I would live in skirts, they are way more comfortable. -Ditto for me on that too as long as they are without control top nylons!

Pics of stages of Unpacking the Basement!

First thing at the bottom of our stairs is a nice sized area for a play room.
I have visions of cute items to hang up dress ups and a little kitchen in one corner.
Perhaps a mini picket-less fence to surround it and give it boundaries as well as creative imaginative play!

Play area with toys all strewn about!
This room is my sewing/craft room. Not yet painted my choice of colors. It will be a nice soothing warm color, I'm thinking a peach color!
This is the older girls room. with the elder daughters suggested color selection.
Eventually the beds will be on their frames with their headboards.
Of course I would hope the clothes would be in their proper place and not on the floor.
A Mom can dream right!
This is the B level bath room (some of the fictures look familiar)
This will eventally be the girls bath with a feminine young theme. We have pink and lavender towels already for it!
Looking out from the girls room. You can see the school area and the walk out basement doors.Standing with my back to the walk out doors.
You can see the door to girls room on the right and a door on the left to the sewing room.
As well as boxes to unpack and various toys / dressup clothes on the floor...SIGHHere we see the girls in the tiled area of the basement.
(M is on a trike) The girls love all the space to play in.
I think this space would be great for a future home Salon!
Wouldn't that be fun. Highlights and haircuts anyone!

In this corner is our school room.
With all this packing and then unpacking, painting and organizing, this mama has very little patience left lately for schooling! Yikes!! I need CALGON to take me away!
So that is our down stairs!
Wish me luck!

We MOVED

We moved to NUNN CO!

L has wanted land for years. He would bring me to a plot or property and we'd take a look. Then we'd talk about the problems and issues that it lacked or had that were or werenot livable.
A few weeks ago we looked at this property. I was impressed at its availible living space and the rooms inside. I also could see the place as very liveable. Unlike others with scary miniscule rooms or brown/black bath tiles and toilets, cigarette smells in the walls or no neighbors in sight...... this place needed paint and that was about it. Hurray for that!
The next week L tells me we are meeting the owner. Then all the details tumbled quickly into my lap. The day after the visit with the owner the movers arrived and we were getting our house packed up! Wow fast!
Then we began the lengthy process of moving in and unpacking!
L is excited to have freedom to do anything he would like! Ham radio antenea, a big veggi garden, a few animals. Live off the land ect.
I am very busy now making the house a home.
The girls love it and tell everyone they can be real cow girls now. M tells everyone she has a 6 car garage. Which is hillarious for her to take note of!
House is a ranch style with a walk out basement.
